MW HS new gradient

We can’t believe it, but there is just over 1 week to go until the return of Shropshire BizFest! The response to this event has been phenomenal and we’re looking forward to putting on our biggest and best event yet, with plenty for attendees to learn, engage with and take away to apply to their own businesses.

We have only a few spaces remaining, so if you want to attend the best networking event in Shropshire (which is free, by the way!), make sure you register for your space today!

Ahead of the event, we wanted to give a sneak preview of what you can expect on the day, including an overview of our speakers – including headline speaker, The Apprentice winner, Mark Wright. That is one session that we’re sure no attendees want to miss!

One of the highlights of BizFest by far is our speaker slots. We’ve selected business owners from a range of sectors to share their insights, experience and highs and lows of their own businesses to inspire our visitors. No matter the size of your business or the industry you operate in, we know that you will come away with new ideas and new insights you can apply to your own business. Our seminars begin at 2:30pm, with a break at 4:20pm. Speakers include:

  • Headline Speaker – Mark Wright
  • Lingen Davies: Helen Knight, Head of Fundraising at Lingen Davies
  • Brightstar Boxing: Joe Lockley, Founding Director
  • Sky: Chris Morris, Regional Sales Manager
  • Radfield Home Care: Dr Hannah MacKechnie, Co-Founder
  • Reech: Rob Hughes, Founder and MD
  • Everton FC: Gareth Prosser, Academy Director
  • Peony: Julie Bates, Founder and Co-Director

Our seminars will close at 6.30pm which is the time for the evening portion of Shropshire BizFest! Attendees will have the chance to listen to fantastic live music from local musician, Dave Busby, in addition to street food from Wild Street Kitchen and some tipples from Tipsy Tom’s.
