Congratulations to the two winners of the Lenny the Lion art competition…
A huge congratulations to the winners of the Lenny the Lion art competition, Isla Linney, 11, and Annie Jones, 6, created by Reech in partnership with Shrewsbury Town in the Community.
The winners were announced during half time…

The six shortlisted finalists were invited to the Reech Community Hub where their artwork was showcased for everyone to see. They were then invited to the Montgomery Waters Football Stadium to watch Shrewsbury Town Football Clubs victory against Wycombe Wanderers. The finalists watched the match, met some of the Shrewsbury Town players and the winners were announced during half time by our Managing Director, Rob Hughes.
Isla and Annie’s artistic and bold drawings landed them both the chance to be a mascot for Shrewsbury Town FC this weekend on March 23rd at their home game against Portsmouth. The runners up were awarded £25 gift vouchers to spend on online for their excellent drawings.
The Golden Gamble…
Reech was also invited to announce the winner of Shrewsbury Town’s FC’s Golden Gamble draw at half time – a cash prize given at every home game.
“Thank you to everyone who participated in the competition. We received some amazing drawings of Lenny the Lion and it was such a hard task narrowing it down to six finalists! Isla and Annie’s drawings were very creative and were very detailed! Isla’s drawing showed Lenny the Lion relaxing in the bath, whilst Annie’s drawing showed Lenny visiting the Zoo. Both drawings paid a lot of attention to detail and were very colourful and well decorated. Well done to both finalists!”
