Understanding the process.

Have a current site you want to transfer to us? Our dedicated Digital Projects and Development teams can provide support to make the transition as smooth as possible with support from start to finish. Transferring a website to Reech includes a one-off fee of £500 + VAT*, depending on the Website Care package you choose.

Once you’ve confirmed your transfer, this is what you can expect from our service:

• We ask for your full packaged files (don’t worry, we’ll explain what we need and how!)
• We’ll ask if you want to transfer your domain to us, or if this will be managed elsewhere
• If you have emails with your domain, these will need to be considered during your transfer
• We’ll recommend a content freeze i.e., we’ll suggest you don’t make any changes to your site within a fixed period to ensure these aren’t lost during the process
• Your site will be uploaded to our server and tested in a beta staging environment
• All plugins and functionality will be checked before being moved onto our secure server

For all website care clients, we recommend commissioning a Website MOT ahead of transferring your website to us. This allows us to understand more about your website and where critical errors lie before we move this onto our servers.
