Why would someone attack my site?

All businesses, regardless of size or sector, are at risk of a cyber-attack. With those with poor hosting security, inadequate firewalls, and out-dated software most vulnerable.

Our Website Care Packages provide total peace of mind that your site is regularly monitored by a team of specialists, who put every measure in place to reduce your risks. That said, no one can ever be wholly protected from a security threat (and don’t believe anyone who says you can), so should it ever occur, we’re here every step of the way to get you back up-and-running as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Why is it important to have a Website Care package?

There are a number of reasons why it’s important to invest in regular support and maintenance for your website. If you can answer yes to any of the following questions, then our Website Care packages are perfect for you:

  • Are you too busy focusing on your dayto- day business to have time to regularly update your site?
  • Are you worried about breaking your site and unsure of the best way to solve issues?
  • Do you want to know how your site is performing month on month?
  • Do you need support when something goes wrong?
What would I use my support hours for?

Our Website Care packages include additional hours of support* to use as you need. This time is flexible to be used on a wide range of changes to your website and we can either use it to complete specific tasks requested from you, use it to complete tasks we’ve identified to help improve your site’s performance, or a mixture of the two! Some examples of how the time can be used include:

  • Adding new, or editing existing, functionality
  • Styling and design updates
  • Content changes
  • Image editing/optimisation
  • SEO content updates and tweaks
  • Adding new content, including news articles, events, special offers, etc.
  • Uploading or replacing existing media including video, documents, etc.
  • Managing domain records

*Support hours vary from package to package. Please read our
packages page for more information on the number of hours allocated.

Who is your hosting partner?

We partner with DigitalOcean, a UK based server provider, who provides a 99.99% uptime guarantee. We have a mixture of dedicated and shared servers which we use for a wide range of sites. The server type used is based on your website size and business requirements.

Will you purchase and manage my domain?

If you need assistance with purchasing a domain (for example if you’re a newly established business or you’ve had a rebrand), we can help. Our domain registration system is highly automated, so we can register your domain name/s quickly with no fuss – we’ll register the domain in your name so you will be the registered owner.

You’ll have the management of one domain name included within your Website Care package. However, if you have more than one domain name (for example www.yourwebsite.com and www.yourwebsite.co.uk) we can manage them for you at an additional cost.

If we manage your domains for you, these will be auto-enrolled onto an automatic renewal to ensure your website is not impacted by domain expiration.

If you choose to manage your domains yourself, the renewal will be your own responsibility.

Will you manage my email?

We do not provide Exchange-based email services or set-up business critical email/systems such as Microsoft 365. In these instances, we will refer you to our preferred partner to assist you (note the charge for this will be invoiced through our partner and will not be taken from any contract you have with Reech).

Does hosting include an SSL Certificate?

All Website Care packages include a standard SSL Certificate which offers the following benefits:

  • Browser padlock: Visitors will see the universally recognised padlock in their browser bar that tells them they are viewing a site over a secure connection. We can provide an extended SSL at an additional cost which offers maximum security and turns the address bar in the visitors’ browser green to show the site is not just secure – but also trusted.
  • Secure https:// browsing: Your visitors can access your site via the secure https:// protocol in their browser – this gives users reassurance that your site is reliable, and their data will be safe.
  • 128-256-bit encryption: Our SSL certificate utilised 128-bit to 256-bit encryption which is the same encryption used by businesses and governments around the world to keep their data protected.
