Visit Shropshire is the official Destination Management Organisation (DMO) for Shropshire and is responsible for promoting and managing Shropshire as a tourist destination, supporting both local businesses and tourism initiatives. Acting as a central hub for county news, data, visitor experiences, and the promotion of its members, Visit Shropshire offers membership support, event management, data analysis, partnerships, and plays a key role in developing the destination management plan.
After a comprehensive rebranding project, Visit Shropshire’s online presence was outdated and ready for modernisation. Visit Shropshire wanted to not only implement its refreshed branding across its digital platforms but to develop an engaging and seamless user experience that would inspire exploration of all that Shropshire has to offer. Core project goals included alignment with SEO and UX best practices, the integration of an interactive map feature and the ability to showcase compelling content. Additionally, Visit Shropshire wanted to introduce Tourism in Shropshire, a new B2B platform for industry professionals, to foster collaboration and streamline business connections within and beyond the county. Both platforms needed to reflect a unified brand vision while serving distinct purposes.
