Shrewsbury Colleges Group (SCG) is a leading higher education provider in Shropshire, offering a diverse range of learning options from A-Levels to university-level qualifications. SCG caters to both school leavers and career professionals, emphasising flexible learning paths and personalised student support.

Challenge:

SCG faced a significant perception hurdle within Shropshire. Despite their comprehensive offerings, they were primarily viewed as a provider of A-Levels and college-level courses in sports, arts, and construction. With the launch of innovative Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), SCG needed to raise awareness of their new university-level courses, establish credibility as a provider of higher education all whilst attracting a diverse audience segments including school leavers, business leaders, and career changers.

Solution:

Reech developed a multi-channel awareness campaign strategy across paid social, Sky AdSmart TV advertising, SEO and PPC. The strategy was developed to speak to three identified audience segments and emphasise the availability of university-level courses within Shropshire while showcasing the diverse course options. Reech developed an overarching campaign video for and mass awareness on TV and then created shorter paid social ads targeting the specific audience segments. The SEO and PPC strategies were developed to capture those actively searching for higher education opportunities and encourage them to choose SCG.
