They offer an unparalleled selection of outdoor plants and have the capability to source rare and unique trees for customers seeking something a bit different. In every way, LovePlants defies the typical garden centre experience, prioritising quality, expertise, and a passion for plants.

Challenge:

Despite initial years of rapid organic growth, LovePlants faced a significant challenge as their footfall and sales began to decline. Their digital presence had become outdated, failing to effectively showcase their unique value proposition in the competitive gardening market. The company struggled with limited media assets, poor engagement on their email marketing campaigns, and low visibility on search engines. As a result, LovePlants was unable to capitalise on the surge in gardening interest that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic and continued in subsequent years.

Solution:

Reech led a comprehensive digital transformation project for LovePlants, beginning with the design and development of a bespoke WordPress website. At the core of this new platform, we implemented a targeted SEO strategy and planned user journeys to optimise the website’s structure, navigation, and content. To visually showcase LovePlants’ unique offerings, we led a multi-day photography and video shoot, capturing their diverse plant range, highlighting staff expertise, and conveying the overall customer experience at the nursery. Post-launch, we continued to provide ongoing marketing support through a dedicated monthly SEO and email marketing strategy. This approach not only drove new users to the website and subsequently to the plant centre but also effectively engaged their existing loyal customer base, ultimately increasing average customer value.
