We’ve partnered with The Soden Collection to design and develop their new website!
We were initially chosen by the contemporary art gallery, The Soden Collection, to produce a new brand identity. More recently, we worked on the design and development of a bespoke new website to display its huge collection of stunning artwork.
New branding for The Soden Collection…
The first phase of The Soden Collection was to reimagine their brand identity. The initial development was of the logo, working through ideas surrounding the image and values of the gallery. The design team explored ideas ranging from homing in on Shrewsbury, the town the gallery is situated, for inspiration to bring the brand back to elegance and simplicity.
The chosen logo, and therefore the branding, is modern, fresh and sleek in design. With a signature black and white colour palette and soft typeface, The Soden Collection logo reflects the contemporary and modern artwork and sculptures available.
The new branding has also now been rolled out across their marketing materials. In the latest phase of the project, this has also been incorporated into their brand-new website.
The project has seen a variety of marketing materials created and range of services on offer utilised, including:
- Brand-new fade signage
- Social media posts
- Email campaign
- Brochures and flyers
- Stunning photography for use on the website
- A commissioned high-quality video highlighting their services
A bespoke new website…
Following the new brand identity, we designed and developed a website. This bespoke WordPress platform enables customers to browse through a wide variety of stunning paintings and sculptures available at the gallery.
The website has been created with a focus on the variety of services the gallery has on offer, from home restoration to a bespoke virtual viewing and consultation service, particularly unique to the difficult times of maintaining social distancing due to the coronavirus.
With a huge variety of artwork available to browse, this is also the perfect platform for customers to purchase their chosen art piece a payment gateway system has been integrated to handle the purchase and shipping of these artworks.
A targeted video campaign…
One of the key aspects of the launch campaign has been the creation of a bespoke, brand-new service. As part of the marketing support, we worked with Managing Director, Jonathan-Lee Soden, to create and name the Virtual Consultation and Visualisation service. this unique service giving potential customers the chance to get in touch with the gallery for advice and help them to visualise the perfect painting or sculpture in their preferred space through a virtual tour.
The marketing support that we have had on offer via virtual communications are just one of the ways we have continued to support businesses and adapt to difficult times in a crisis. We have been able to provide The Soden Collection with a creative way of conveying the product offering, which has been further emphasised with a commissioned video that has aimed to highlight the Virtual Consultation and Visualisation service.
About The Soden Collection
Founded by Jonathan-Lee Soden, Managing Director, and Paul Corbett, Commercial Director, The Soden Collection gallery is situated in Shrewsbury and features an eclectic mix of contemporary, well-established local artwork and pieces from renowned international artists. The gallery has two main gallery rooms, private viewing lounge and a sculpture garden that hosts a mix of curated genres of paintings, sculptures and objects of virtue.
The Soden Collection is a highly reputed gallery in Shrewsbury and working with them to achieve this project has been both rewarding and an exciting venture.
