We’re looking for a skilled mid-level WordPress developer to join our team. If you have strong back-end development experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating high-quality websites, this could be the perfect opportunity.  

The Role:  

• Develop and maintain websites using PHP with a focus on WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), experience in Laravel is a bonus.  

• Collaborate on both new and existing projects, ensuring quality and consistency across all development stages.  

• Work with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), and JavaScript to ensure seamless integration with back-end systems.  

• Utilise Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to solve complex problems.  

• Manage code versioning and collaboration using Git.  

• Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure goals are met.  

What We’re Looking For:  

• Extensive experience in PHP back-end development, particularly within WordPress theme/plugin development  

• Strong front-end development skills, including knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), Bootstrap, Gulp, and JavaScript.  

• Proficient in Git (Bitbucket/Github) for version control.  

• Ability to work on both new and existing projects, delivering consistent, high-quality results.  

• Experience with MySQL/Maria DB  

• Solid understanding of OOP principles and their practical applications.  

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  

• A passion for web development and a positive, enthusiastic approach to your work.  

Desirables:  

• Experience with Laravel or Drupal  

• Shopify theme development  

• Experience with SEO, Google Analytics and Schema.org
