Marketing Projects Assistant

Your Mission: Support the delivery of marketing projects across the agency making sure every project shines with creativity and precision!  

As a Marketing Projects Assistant, you’ll jump into a diverse role where no two days are the same. You’ll work alongside a dynamic team, help shape exciting projects, and bring a burst of energy to everything we do. The successful candidate will be passionate about marketing with a special interest in websites and digital. If you’re a proactive problem-solver who thrives on variety and collaboration, we can’t wait to meet you! 

Key Responsibilities  

Project Management and Internal Communication  

  • Supports the Marketing Account Managers with the project management of client projects and retainers, including setting projects up onto Teamwork, scheduling client meetings, organising materials and general administrative tasks.  
  • Assists with creating guides and process documentation.  
  • Liaises with internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration on projects. 
  • Provide support in project management tasks, including scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met. 

Campaign and Project Assistance 

  • Supports with delivery across all departments where required, including executing campaigns, social media, email marketing and digital advertising.  
  • Helps create engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, social media, and website updates. 
  • Supports with delivering print marketing materials.  
  • Exports performance data, compiling reports to provide insights and recommendations.  

Website Support  

  • Assists with web development tasks, including content and media updates, basic design changes, UAT, and coordination with the development team. 
  • Completes page speed and web page optimisation audits.  
  • Assists with fixing broken links, redirects, updating pages and adding news articles.   

Website Care  

  • Handles the administration of web care tickets, working with the team internally to respond and resolve issues in a timely manner.  
  • Briefs development tasks required to the Development team, working to complete work in a timely manner.  
  • Monitoring web care contracts and tracking client time vs contract to ensure client’s time is utilised. 
  • Completes web care reports for internal information and for specific web care clients.  
  • Communicates clearly with clients regarding their web care support.

  • 1+ years of experience in a marketing or projects role, preferably within an agency environment.  
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress nice to have.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).  
  • Knowledge in marketing tools such as Google Analytics and social media platforms desirable. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and adapt to changing priorities. 
  • High attention to detail and quality in work. 
  • Resilient and effective under pressure. 
  • Keen to learn, and extremely organised.
