Launching a Bold New Product, Brick by Brick.

Reech Blogs Sep

At Reech, we don’t just lay the foundations and walk away. We build something that lasts and are with you every step of the way.

So, when our long-standing client, Imperial Bricks, came to us with a groundbreaking new product, we knew it was worthy of more than just another page on the website. It deserved the construction of a bespoke digital experience as solid and standout as the new range itself.

Brick Slips

As a business, Imperial Bricks is known for its premium-quality handmade bricks. Having partnered with them for years, helping to shape its digital presence (brick by brick), we were delighted to support in the launch of its innovative, brand-new product.

Brick Slips – thin slices of brick cut to a thickness of around 20mm to replicate the look of genuine, exposed brickwork – opened the company up to a wider set of applications, industries, and end users, from architects and developers to interior designers and homeowners.

Naturally, this meant that it needed an online platform that stood apart from its core site, while still feeling connected and consistent to the brand.

A Clear View for a Crafted Product

The brief was simple: offer Brick Slips a clear identity and dedicated platform that would do justice to both the product and its benefits.

We began by finalising the product branding – establishing the tone, messaging, and visual language that would underpin the microsite. The aim was to strike the right balance, keeping it premium but accessible, and modern but authentic to the craftsmanship behind the product.

Next, we designed and developed a fully responsive microsite, acting as the digital hub for all-things Brick Slips. The experience needed to feel elevated and intuitive, educating users who may be unfamiliar with the product while simultaneously impressing those already in the know.

Essentially, we needed a comprehensive site that showcased what Brick Slips are and why they matter.

Telling the Story Frame by Frame

One of the most exciting elements of this project was the introduction of custom animations. Yes, they added visual flair and creativity, but they also served a valuable purpose too.

Through a series of animated explainers, we told the story of Brick Slips, breaking down key concepts like the Golden Thread.

From build methods to sustainability benefits, these animations allow users to understand the product in seconds, without the need to wade through dense copy. For a launch campaign where education was as important as sales, this was a key tool in the storytelling journey.

Partnership That Pushes Boundaries

It was a pleasure to partner with Imperial Bricks again to deepen our understanding of its business and products, and to deliver another high-end digital design and development aligned with the quality of its offering.

Because this was so much more than just getting a product to market. It was about launching it in the right way – with clarity, with impact, and with room to grow.

And while it’s still early days for the Brick Slips microsite, we’re already tracking impressive engagement and user journeys.

For projects like this, we also hugely value the qualitative feedback from our clients too (and the comments they share from customers). This project has been hugely positive and has already initiated exciting conversations about ongoing collaborations. Watch this space…

Challenging Tradition, Championing Innovation

What continues to impress us most about working with Imperial Bricks is the overarching entrepreneurial mindset of the entire team. Launching a new product range like Brick Slips, particularly in such a traditional industry, takes vision. And it takes courage to invest in brand, digital, and commercial storytelling to bring that product to life in a way that educates and inspires.

And from our side, this was the kind of brief that pushes our team to think differently. To stretch our creative capabilities, experiment with animation, and to create something strategically smart.

We’re proud to have played a part in bringing Brick Slips to market, and even prouder to be working alongside Imperial Bricks as they continue to innovate in its space.
