How We’ve Levelled Up Performance + Web at Reech

Jan NewPositions WebRes

Big, complex, multi‑site projects? International SEO and performance campaigns? Bespoke digital platforms optimised for growth? Don’t threaten us with a good time.

We’ve always aimed to punch above our weight as a Shropshire agency dealing with global clients, but with some new heavy-hitters joining and a couple more converted to new positions, we’re chomping at the bit even more. Meet the new weapons in the Reech arsenal, and see how they’re driving web, performance and innovation for our clients.

Jess | Connecting Performance

Jess recently joined Reech as our Senior Digital Marketing Specialist after time in both agencies and in‑house roles. She missed the buzz of collaboration and wanted to plug her analytical brain into bigger, more varied briefs.

Performance and web should never be strangers to each other, and Jess is instrumental in ensuring the two always marry up. “Performance is about getting the right people, at the right time, to the right place, and web is usually what happens next once they arrive. Send high‑intent traffic to an out‑of‑date, unoptimised page, and you’re just asking for trouble.” Performance brings the audience in; web makes sure the journey actually converts.

That becomes crucial when you start layering in markets and languages. “Working globally with large-scale clients doesn’t mean copying the UK site and translating it into French; different regions search differently, behave differently and care about different things. That means localised SEO, platform choices and messaging have to be built intentionally – a bespoke plan based on a master plan, not a copy‑and‑paste job.”

Alex | Simplifying Complexity

Next, meet Alex, the agency’s new Projects and Delivery Manager. He’s the guy who shacks up in the crux of client expectations, technical detail and timelines. He spends half his time working with clients on larger digital projects (websites, bespoke builds, custom integerations and everything in between), and the other half improving how we deliver those projects across the agency.

For him, ‘good delivery starts’ with never losing sight of the original objectives. “Big web projects can run for months, sometimes a year, and it’s easy for the goalposts to shift without anyone noticing.” Alex builds in regular checkpoints to revisit the ‘why’, so every decision, dependency and adjustment still lines up with what success was supposed to look like. Communication is what keeps complex work feeling automatic rather than mysterious. Clear deliverables, realistic timelines, regular catchups and bringing work in front of clients at every stage – from wireframes to final design – mean there are no dramatic ta‑da moments, just shared progress.

Jake | Future Proofing

Jake’s move from Head of Development to Head of Technology & Innovation says a lot about where we’re heading as an agency. His remit has shifted from being in the day‑to‑day delivery work to setting our technical direction: how we architect projects, what tools (and AI) we adopt, and how we make sure today’s solutions still make sense in years to come.

When clients talk about future‑proofing, Jake is clear that it’s not about predicting the future or over‑engineering everything. “It’s about strong foundations and flexible architecture – clean builds, smart integrations and early decisions that don’t trap clients in expensive rebuilds later. That might mean picking platforms like WordPress or Shopify for the right reasons or introducing new ways of working in the dev team so the codebase is ready for what comes next, rather than needing to be scrapped.”

The CFO Centre project is a good example of that ambition. Twenty plus sites, multi‑territory, with a bespoke engine and UI built around it. Complex planning stages combined with serious integration work could seem daunting, but as Jake says, “we’ve got the team, the experience and expertise to comfortably deliver at that scale.”

Brandon | Pushing Development

Last but not least, Brandon’s shift from Developer to Lead Developer is about more than a new job title. He’s part of the engine room that turns ambitious ideas into growth-inducing, scalable websites, and now he’s helping shape how the whole team does that.

A big focus for him is improving our base code and standards so we’re not reinventing the wheel every time. If we can streamline the repetitive parts of builds, such as shared animations and components, we free up more time for the custom work that really stretches us: bespoke projects, complex booking systems, mapping, and sector‑specific functionality that doesn’t come off the shelf.

“Those kinds of builds are always exciting, seeing what we can achieve as a team is always motivating.” Brandon’s helping make sure we can continue saying yes, yes, yes to bigger, more technical challenges with genuine confidence.

Big‑city calibre, Shropshire HQ

The common thread across Jess, Alex, Jake and Brandon is simple: we’ve deliberately invested in people who thrive on solving complex digital problems together. Performance and web move as one. Technical decisions are made with the long view in mind. Delivery is structured so clients always know where they stand. Development is building from a stronger, smarter base.

And all of that is happening from our Shropshire HQ, for clients across the UK, Europe & beyond. We’ve come a long way from the ‘local agency’; we’re equipped to handle global multisite structures, consolidation projects and localised SEO/GEO strategies, with a team that genuinely enjoys getting into the weeds and coming out with something bold, smart and built to last.
